We are happy to participate in many of the neighborhoods and
community events organized by our Guests, including fundraiser
'Pasta Partnerships' and 'Scrip School Programs.'
Each of the community objectives gives our restaurant
the ability to support local events and provide charitable
donations. This program is administered locally by our General
Managers.
If you would like to have Pomodoro participate
in your neighborhood event or fundraiser, help arrange a Pasta
Partnership or set up a Scrip Program, please: Contact the
General Manager of your local Pomodoro.
PASTA PARTNERSHIPS:
For Pasta Partnerships, we will donate 10% of the total food
sales (excluding alcoholic, non alcoholic beverages, tax and
gratuity) for a specific Partnership day or night in our restaurant,
based on all guests participating in the fundraiser.
SCRIP PROGRAM:
With our Scrip Program, we can sell $500, $750 or $1000 worth
of gift cards at a special deal for you to then sell off at
full rate in order to help your fundraising activities:
o Buy $500 gift cards and we will give you
$550 value in gift cards
o Buy $750 gift cards and we will give you $850 value in
gift cards
o Buy $1,000 gift cards and we will give you $1,150 value
in gift cards
o Buy $2,000 gift cards and we will give you $2,325 value
in gift cards
o Buy $5,000 gift cards and we will give you $5,550 value
in gift cards
o Buy $10,000 gift cards and we will give you $10,750 value
in gift cards
For all smaller denominations you wish to purchase
from $25 and upwards, we have partnered with Great Lakes Scrip
(www.glscrip.com). You
can find us listed under the "Dining - Casual" section
in the drop down menu under 'P' in the "Retailer List."
Please note: For our Pasta Partnership and Scrip
programs, you must prove that you are raising money for a
'non-profit' organization and show a tax ID to comply with
our programs.
Scrip programs are NOT available during the
month of December
For charitable donations and general fundraisers,
keep in mind the following Good Neighbor Program guidelines
Our participation in events and/or sponsorships
requires:
o A formal, written request from the sponsoring organization.
o The event is held within a 1-2 mile radius of our restaurant.
o The event benefit (or may be of interest to) our loyal
Guests
Although we'd love to say yes to every request,
we realistically cannot. We usually decline requests for:
o Support of individuals
o Political organizations
o Endowments
o Organizations that have funds available to pay for the
products
o We may also decline requests due to budget constraints
or events we have previously committed to.
If you would like Pasta Pomodoro to participate
in an event or fundraiser that may affect a number of our
restaurant locations, please submit the request in writing
