Believed to have sustained the Roman legions of Caesar, Farro
has been around for hundreds of years and is naturally high in
fiber, contains more protein than wheat and is rich in complex
carbohydrates.
Gulf Shrimp
Our shrimp is harvested in the Gulf of Mexico and is raised
without chemicals or pesticides. We do not carry (cheaper) shrimp
from South East Asia due to our concerns about quality and farming
practices.
Sustainably Raised Salmon
Did you know that during a peak catch year, wild
salmon can only supply about one‐third of growing worldwide demand?
We source our salmon from the British Columbia Salmon Farmers
Association in Canada. Not only does this reduce our carbon
footprint but compared against other salmon farming jurisdictions
in the world, the British Columbia (BC) regulatory environment is
the most stringent. BC salmon farms can only be sited in areas
where water currents provide optimal conditions for fish well‐being
and environmental sustainability. This includes avoiding
sensitive wild salmon habitat such as coastal fish spawning and
nursery areas.
